Facebook 似乎又找到可以發揮的地方了！最新推出的「Facebook Sports Stadium」功能，讓熱愛體育賽事的朋友，可以在 Facebook 上即時掌握比賽狀況，透過比分、重要事件、影音、動態訊息等內容，和更多用戶一起為激烈賽事搖旗吶喊！

Facebook 宣布推出「 Facebook Sports Stadium」，這是個讓熱愛體育活動的用戶，可以即時分享賽事的地方。Facebook 表示，多達 6.5 億的體育賽事愛好者，都會在 Facebook 上分享、慶祝、或是互相吐槽運動競賽。促成 Facebook 替他們打造了能夠聚在一起場域。

透過「 Facebook Sports Stadium」功能，用戶可以在專區內查看賽事中兩隊的即時比分，並且隨著賽事進行，張貼各類聊天文章。也能轉貼從媒體、聯盟、或是球隊發布的內容。當然賽事進行中的影音畫面也不會少！
《Venture Beat》指出，這功能很像是聊天功能更強大的 ESPN 體育頻道。包含按讚、回覆、分享的功能都與一般 Facebook 功能無異。只要在搜尋欄尋找特定賽事，就可以進入到這個活動專區中。
Facebook 這項功能目前針對美國地區的 iPhone 用戶開放，同時目前只支援美式足球的運動賽事。Facebook 會逐漸加入籃球、足球等運動賽事，同時也會逐漸在全球各地的行動裝置上開放使用。
